Ohio Couple Leads Community Bible Study Using a Roku and Skip’s Teachings

| News
Lee and Billie Mascarello traveled over 1,500 miles from Columbus, Ohio, to visit Calvary Albuquerque June 8-15. It was a blessing to hear their testimony and how they use Skip Heitzig's teachings on Roku to reach a community. Four years ago, Lee was given the opportunity to lead a Bible study at an assisted living center and he and Billie decided to use Skip's teachings to bring the gospel to the residents. In a packed meeting room, they begin with prayer and then watch Skip's teaching on the Roku, pausing the video as needed for questions. Lee reports that many residents make decisions for Christ when Skip gives the invitation in his messages.

"They just raise their hands. Heads bowed and eyes closed," he said. "Then Billie and I follow up with that decision."

This ministry grew from the Mascarello's desire to see people know the Word of God and place their faith in Jesus. They are now able to share the gospel at the assisted living center two nights a week. Lee leads a Bible study one night and on the other night they enjoy a fresh teaching from Skip on the Roku. It is wonderful to know that people across the country are following God's call to share the love of Christ through these teachings.
