Taking The Hill Showing Hosted by Raul Ries

by Connection News | | News

Skip interviewed Raul Ries, Wednesday, May 16, for a touching and powerful viewing of his latest documentary, Taking The Hill, which focused on the aftermath of war, the struggles that veterans face, and the peace that comes only through the shedding of God’s blood.  Raul said his main motivation for making the movie was his own experience with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a Vietnam Veteran, the peace he found only through God, and the generous donation of one veteran’s ex-wife; who dealt with the consequences of PTSD in her ex-husband.
