Israel 2012 Trip - Capernaum

by Connection News | | News

On Tuesday, May 22, we made our way around the Sea of Galilee region.  We began our day with a visit to Capernaum, also known as the City of Jesus, where Jesus taught in the synagogue and spent much of His ministry (Matthew 4).  We also took a trip on the Sea of Galilee, using a boat replicated from the time of the disciples. 30 people were baptized in the Sea of Galilee, and we spent part of the day shopping and taking in the sites.
