expound exposed - June 2012

by Connection News | | News

Clear skies, warm air, and the fellowship of God's people formed a fitting backdrop for June's expound exposed Outdoor Communion Service. The service began with worship led by Ryan Wylie and Summer Green. Pastor Skip introduced the congregation to the Velocity Mid-High Ministry mission team, headed to minister on the Navajo Nations in western New Mexico. Skip turned everyone's attention to God's Word, as he led a verse by verse study through Matthew 19, explaining what God says about divorce. As Skip pointed out, it was a timely message in light of the new weekend marriage series, Keep Calm and Marry On.  Following the study, Pastor Landoll Benally of Calvary Chapel Tohlakai and James Clovis came forward to pray and present the elements of Communion.
