July 2012 Baptism

by Connection News | | News

On July 29, 2012, Calvary Albuquerque held it's July Baptism. Pastor Skip explained the meaning of baptism as many gathered with humble and joyous hearts, to demonstrate their faith in Christ by taking this important step of obedience. As worship music filled the amphitheater and supportive friends and family lent words of encouragement, faithful believers streamed into the baptismal fountain to share their testimonies and publicly identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It was a wonderful reminder of how the Lord moves in the hearts and lives of men, drawing us to repentance and new life.
