Calvary Albuquerque Celebrates 30 years!

On September 22-23, Skip and Calvary Albuquerque celebrated the 30th Anniversary of our fellowship.  Guest musicians the Charlie Hall Band led us in worship and Franklin Graham, Greg Laurie, Raul Ries, and David Jeremiah provided video messages of congratulations. Lenya shared a heartfelt story of how she and Skip traveled to Albuquerque in the early 80s, newly married, with a vision to serve the Lord and lead many to Christ. After a video greeting from Pastor Chuck Smith and a look back at the history of our Church, Skip led us in a short study from Deuteronomy 8, as he explained the importance of remembering the past, learning in the present, and looking toward the future with a thankful attitude.
