“Be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.” —Psalm 31:24

Talk about It

  1. Share about a time when you spoke up about your faith with your family, friends, or at work and it went surprisingly well. Maybe you were nervous, but you don’t regret it.
  2. Is there something you’ve been wanting to say publicly, but you haven’t (maybe it’s an issue of courage, you don’t know how to share, or you need some questions answered first)? Why haven’t you?
  3. Criticism is overrated. Everything is controversial to someone. But that doesn’t mean a follower of Jesus abandons the fruit of the Spirit when expressing biblical values or truth. Talk about how you can share truth in a way that doesn’t look like everyone else’s loud criticizing and canceling.
“The Bible demands that Christians be courageous. But the Bible doesn’t just demand it—our culture also needs it.” —Johnnie Moore
